A paper made with recycled textiles and natural waste
What is eco-friendly paper? What’s its production process?
The label ‘eco-friendly’ on paper refers to the low environmental impact of the product throughout its entire manufacturing process. To determine this, variables such as the consumption of resources used and pollutant emissions are measured throughout the entire process.
For paper to be considered eco-friendly, it must be manufactured using environmentally responsible processes.
Furthermore, its production must not involve the use of any potentially polluting substances, such as added chemicals or bleaching agents.
Eco-friendly papers are generally those whose raw material is not of forest origin. If it is of forest origin, it must come from sustainably managed forests to ensure future reforestation.
The international FSC certification guarantees that the virgin fibre used in this type of paper comes from sustainably managed forests.

An eco-friendly, handmade paper, with no chemicals or trees involved
Waste paper is an environmentally friendly type of paper that’s produced solely from contaminated waste material, and in its manufacturing process, only water is added, and absolutely nothing else.
The production process doesn’t rely on cellulose from trees. What’s more, it avoids all the polluting stages involved in processing recovered waste.
Consequently, it stands out as one of the most sustainable choices among all the eco-friendly paper types that currently exist.
Why choose environmentally sustainable printing papers?
- Produced through a non-polluting process, ensuring a low environmental footprint.
- Manufactured without the use of harsh chemicals or bleaching.
- Raw materials can be certified cellulose or fibres from plants other than felled trees.
- Often made with recycled content, further promoting sustainability.
