Vectalia and 480
Vectalia wins the award for the most sustainable stand at FITUR 2021. Sheedo Studio participated by covering one of its walls with 1000 custom Little Trees.
The Vectalia Group returned from FITUR with the award for the most sustainable stand, and we couldn’t be prouder to have participated in this outstanding project. The Alicante-based mobility and services brand went to great lengths to create one of the most spectacular stands to be seen at this year’s Madrid Tourism Fair.
Vectalia used only recyclable materials and 100% renewable energy sources for the construction of their stand. They also gave us the opportunity to help them cover one of their walls with 1000 Little Pine, Rosemary and Lavender Trees. All the trees were customized with the logo of the Vectalia Group and their technology partner Cuatroochenta.
Offset and awareness marketing
The Little Trees were not only used to decorate their stand, they were also given to their visitors with a tracking mechanism to follow their final destination. A creative way to offset their carbon footprint, which was particularly appreciated by all those who came to visit them at the show.
This year was the second edition of the Sustainable Stand Award. It was organized with the collaboration of the Institute of Responsible Tourism (ITR), with the aim of recognizing exhibitors who show their alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, which will mark the recovery of the sector.
We hope that these sustainability initiatives will become more and more common among organizers and participants of this type of fairs. Because they are not only used for marketing actions or to offset the environmental impact of companies, but also to raise awareness among the public attending these events, which is not negligible.
