The Red Cross
“Countdown to 2030”: the campaign for the World Environment Day of the Spanish Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross Youth.
This year, the Spanish Red Cross and the Red Cross Youth wanted to show their firm commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the United Nations has set out to achieve by the year 2030. For this reason, their entire communication campaign for Environment Day (June 5) has been encompassed under the name and hashtag #CuentaAtrás2030.
The campaign focused on 4 thematic lines, to invite all people to reflect on the importance and impact that our routine day-to-day activities have on the environment:
– Recycling and reuse.
– Responsible consumption.
– Sustainable mobility.
– Household savings.
A national campaign with hundreds of activities and more than 15,000 ecological Earth Pills from Sheedo Studio.
It was a great and exciting project, with a very happy ending. It is one of those projects that we very proud of and super grateful that the Red Cross have counted on us to carry it out. Despite the logistical and time difficulties that usually involve such big projects, both the team of Cruz Roja Juventud and all the people of Sheedo Studio got involved with great enthusiasm from start to finish.
Sheedo Studio participated by creating more than 15,000 Earth Pills with wild flower seeds, where the image and message of the campaign “Countdown 2030” was printed in Spanish, Catalan, Galician and Basque. All the people who received the Red Cross gift could plant the capsule with seeds when they got home and have the living memory of that day in their plant.
Want to give out your very own Earth Pills?
We are talking about a national campaign with a great success and that has been spread in a total of 50 provinces. More than 600 activities such as workshops, round tables, which served to raise awareness among thousands of people across the country, on issues related to recycling, sustainable mobility, responsible consumption and household savings.
Thank you so much for counting on us for this wonderful project! We are looking forward to future ones.
